If you are having a meal on a business account, try to avoid the temptation to use it as an excuse for overindulgence.

It is easy to boost your calorie intake significantly with a few drinks when eating out. One medium glass of wine has about the same calories as a large slice of bread. Try to have a low calorie aperitif instead of an alcoholic one if you know you will be drinking with your meal. Your diet for diverticulosis should include plenty of water with your meal, in addition to any wine. Water always compliments healthy eating.
